Cookies Policy

Last updated: 8 March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies https://www.wameq.com uses, why, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser, remember preferences, and collect analytics data. Some cookies are set by the site itself (first-party), others by third-party services embedded in the site.

2. Cookies this site uses

Strictly necessary cookies — No strictly necessary cookies beyond basic session management are used on this site.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) — GA4 uses first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to distinguish users and sessions. These cookies are set only after you accept analytics cookies via the consent banner. Data is anonymised and used solely to understand site usage.

  • _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Expires after 2 years.
  • _ga_[ID] — Maintains session state for the GA4 property. Expires after 2 years.

Tag Manager cookies (Google Tag Manager) — GTM itself does not set cookies, but manages the deployment of other tags including the GA4 tag above.

Third-party cookies (Calendly) — If you use the booking widget on the Contact page, Calendly may set its own cookies for session management. These are subject to Calendly's Cookie Policy.

3. Consent Mode

This site does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager until you actively accept analytics cookies through the consent banner. If you decline, analytics scripts are not loaded and analytics cookies are not set.

4. How to manage cookies

You can reopen cookie choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. If you previously accepted analytics cookies, you can also clear them through your browser settings.

You can also manage cookies directly in your browser settings. Instructions vary by browser:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy and Security
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Note: disabling all cookies may affect the functionality of some embedded features (e.g. Calendly booking).

5. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable regulations. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
